Royal Northern Sinfonia join Huddersfield Choral Society, conductor Gregory Batsleer and four dazzling singers on stage at Huddersfield Town Hall.

Mendelssohn’s oratorio Elijah. Oratorios are big pieces for orchestra, choir and solo singers and often tell a biblical story, like Handel’s Messiah and Bach’s St Matthew Passion. This one tells the story of the prophet Elijah. Whether you have a faith or not, it’s a spiritual and emotional journey full of dramatic twists and turns and beautiful, Romantic music.
